Dance Innovation was started in April 2001 by Toni Diaper.
Toni trained in dance from the age of 6 and at age 16 entered full time training to become a dance teacher.
She currently holds Associate qualifications in Ballet, Tap and Modern Jazz with the International Dance Teachers Association, Associate Tap and Modern with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and a teaching certificate in Ballet with the Royal Academy of Dance.
Toni firmly believes in ongoing professional development and regularly attends seminars to remain up to date on current practices and continues to take professional examinations.
The ethos behind Dance Innovation is that dance should be fun and that opportunities should be given for the child to express themselves and excel through performance, examinations and competition.
Lucy Kimmings is the drama teacher for Dance Innovation. She also teaches at Ryburn Valley High School..
